Meet Our Pastor
Rev. Alan C. Berg
Rev. Alan C. Berg is
the Pastor of the South Hills Community Baptist Church. His
pastorate with us began February 1, 1998.
A native of Riverside, IL, a
Chicago suburb, Rev. Berg has ministered in Pennsylvania communities
for half his life. (He has been a Steelers fan since 1987; but he
still roots for the Chicago Cubs and White Sox.)
Rev. Berg became a believer in
Jesus Christ at the Oak Park Avenue Baptist Church in Berwyn, IL in
1959. Rev. Berg graduated from Bethel Theological Seminary, a
Baptist seminary in St. Paul, MN in 1975, with a M. Div. in Historical
and Theological Studies.
He and his wife, Linda, have two
daughters; and they live in Mt. Lebanon, PA.
