It's not easy these days to find a church family with "the right stuff", that blend of friendships and ministries we hope for in a church. From the moment I first met the people of of SHCBC, I encountered a group of people who gave me a sence of "coming home", in all the senses of that wonderful phrase.

Most of the people at South Hills Community Baptist Church are from other parts of the country. We know what it's like to be far away from family and "home turf".

I have found this is a church where you can be loved and cared for as a person and as a family. We have a vibrant ministry with children, We also have a number of singles in the congregation.
